"Inclusion meeting Werne – Barrier-free Participation"

Inclusion meeting place Werne – Barrier-free participation
What is the Inklusionstreff Werne?
The Inklusionstreff Werne is a self-help group that advocates for barrier-free participation in all areas of life. We offer people with disabilities a platform for exchange, support, and networking with relevant stakeholders.
What is barrier-free participation?
Barrier-free participation means that all people – regardless of physical, intellectual, or sensory impairments – can participate equally in social life. It's about removing obstacles and creating an environment in which every person can act independently.
Barriers are not only physical, such as stairs or missing elevators, but can also be found in communication, digital services, or bureaucratic hurdles. The goal is to promote an inclusive society through targeted measures, awareness, and support – a society in which no one is excluded.
Our Inklusionstreff is committed to exactly that: we connect those affected, provide information about funding opportunities, and present solutions to achieve more accessibility in all areas of life.
Goal of our self-help group
Our goal is to remove barriers and actively promote inclusion. Barriers don't just start outside, but often also in the mind and at home. Together, we want to overcome these barriers and pave the way for an inclusive future. Through regular meetings and cooperation with businesses, authorities, and organizations, we aim to develop solutions for better participation.
Interval & Event Location
The self-help group meets once a month. At each meeting, authorities, companies, and organizations are invited to present their services.
