Here you can find all upcoming events for the association "Wheelchair Accessible in the City of Werne" and the self-help group "Inclusion Meeting Werne - Barrier-Free Participation." ​

 

The self-help group "Inclusion Meeting Werne – Barrier-Free Participation" is a platform for people with disabilities who want to break down barriers and actively promote inclusion. The group offers space for exchange, mutual support, and networking with relevant stakeholders. It meets once a month and invites companies, authorities, and organizations to present their services. ​

Opening of the self-help group “Inclusion Meeting Werne – Barrier-free Participation”

Dear visitors,

We are very pleased to announce that the official opening of the self-help group "Inclusion Meeting Werne - Barrier-Free Participation" will take place on May 30, 2025.

 

This initiative promotes active inclusion in Werne and creates a space for exchange, support, and barrier-free participation for all interested parties. ​

You can easily register for the opening and subsequent meetings via our online portal. ​

 

Next steps:

🔹 The follow-up dates will be published here on the website shortly.

🔹 You can register directly for the individual meetings after they are published.

🔹 Our meeting point is completely barrier-free and therefore accessible to everyone. ​

How to register for an event

1. Open the following link to our event overview:

2. Select the event you would like to attend. ​

 

3. Click the "Reply" button – you will be taken to the event's detailed view. ​

 

4. Click "Reply" again – you will now be redirected to the contact form. ​

 

5. Fill out the contact form (please note the required fields). ​

 

6. Click "Next" – you will now see the event guidelines.

 

7. Read the event guidelines carefully. ​

 

8. Confirm the guidelines by checking the box. ​

 

9. Click "Submit" – your registration is complete. ​

 

10. You will then automatically receive a booking confirmation via email.

Important Notice Regarding Planned Programs
 
This information is for interested parties, the Unna district, funding agencies, and the general public.
 
The planned computer workshops (accessible) and the regular meetings of the self-help group without a specific topic have not yet been able to take place.
 
The reason for this is that the Werne Youth Welfare Office.
 
I sincerely apologize to all interested parties and participants that these programs had already been announced and now cannot take place for the time being.
 
The topic-specific meetings of the self-help group are not affected and will continue as scheduled.
 
We are currently searching for alternative accessible venues to be able to offer the canceled programs independently in the future. The goal remains to provide free, low-threshold, and accessible programs for people with disabilities.
 
As soon as suitable venues are available, the dates will be rescheduled and published.
