Our goal is to break down barriers and provide practical information on accessibility. Here, you will find an overview of wheelchair-accessible entrances, restrooms, and barrier-free services in the city of Werne.

One of the key features of our website is an interactive map that displays accessible entrances and wheelchair-friendly restrooms in Werne – both with and without a Euro key. This tool helps people with mobility impairments navigate the city more easily.

Self-Help Group "Inclusion Meeting Werne – Barrier-Free Participation"

Our newly founded self-help group offers people with disabilities a space for exchange, mutual support, and advocacy for greater inclusion. A key aspect of our meetings is the direct dialogue with authorities, businesses, and organizations, allowing them to present their services and contribute to breaking down barriers.

 

 

Planned Establishment of a Non-Profit Association

 

To secure our work in the long term and to be able to apply for targeted funding, we are planning to establish the non-profit association "Wheelchair Accessible in the City of Werne." The association "Wheelchair Accessible in the City of Werne" (registered association) is committed to a city where everyone can reach every place – regardless of physical limitations.
